Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing day-to-day hotel operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance.
  • Support department managers and staff by providing guidance, motivation, and performance feedback.
  • Monitor service quality, guest feedback, and operational issues, recommending and implementing improvements.
  • Assist in handling guest complaints professionally and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Help prepare staff schedules, duty rosters, and manpower planning to meet operational demands.
  • Support inventory control, purchasing processes, and cost-management procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and security standards throughout the hotel.
  • Coordinate interdepartmental communication and assist in conducting regular departmental meetings.
  • Assist in reviewing financial and operational reports, identifying trends, and proposing efficiency improvements.
  • Act as a duty manager when assigned, ensuring seamless operations in the absence of senior leadership.
  • Promote and uphold the hotel’s core values, ensuring all staff demonstrate consistent professionalism and service commitment.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Minimum 3–5 years of hotel operations experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure while maintaining service quality.
  • Knowledge of hotel systems (PMS, POS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
