Job Description

The Bean Embassy is a premier specialty coffee roastery and community destination in Siem Reap. Founded on the philosophy that great coffee brings people together, we have grown from a passionate small-scale project into a center for artisanal excellence, professional barista training, and sustainable sourcing.

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Prepare and cook food according to company recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure food is prepared in a timely and consistent manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations
  • Store and handle ingredients properly following food safety standards
  • Monitor food stock and report shortages when necessary
  • Assist with food preparation, inventory, and kitchen organization
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Languages:
  • English - Basic
  • Khmer - Fluent
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma in Culinary Arts, food Preparation, or a related field is preferred
Work History:
  • Experience in a professional kitchen for 1 year as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Fresh graduate, high school diploma, vocational certificate, or equivalent qualification in Culinary Arts, food Preparation, or a related field is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, food safety, kitchen hygiene, and time management is preferred.
Soft Skills
  • Attitude: Responsible, hardworking, honest, and willing to learn.
