The organization has also strengthened engagement with provincial NGOs, CBOs, and grassroots organizations, facilitating networks to address gender, trade, economic development, environmental awareness, pesticides reduction, Mekong basin community rights, resettlements, and forest livelihoods, with the aim of supporting responsible and sustainable development that benefits all Cambodians.

Under new leadership with a paradigm shift, The NGO Forum has formulated its 2024-2030 strategic plan, named METRI, aligning with national priorities and global agendas such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement.
