Job Description

We are now looking for qualified candidates to fill below positions:

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Teaching
  • Teach undergraduate midwifery courses in theory and practice.
  • Prepare course outline, lesson plans, teaching materials, and learning resource
  • Develop, administer, and evaluate student assessments
  • Monitoring students during clinical placements
  • Supervise students for community activities and study tour program
  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students
  • Participate in curriculum development and continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Research
  • Collaborate with faculty members and external partners on research activities.
  • Prepare research reports, conference presentations, and manuscripts for publication
  • Support the Department in securing research grants and expanding research capacity
  • Apply for internal and external research grants.
  • Supervise Bachelor of Science in Midwifery (BSM) students in developing research proposals and theses.
  • Academic and Administrative Service
  • Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, seminars, and university events.
  • Assist with accreditation, quality assurance, and program development activities.
  • Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the Dean or Deputy Dean.
Job Requirements
Languages:
  • Khmer - Good
  • English - Good
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Midwifery
  • Master's Degree is preferred
Work History:
  • Clinical practice and/or teaching experience for 1 to 2 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate students independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of both Khmer and English (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Experience conducting health or clinical research.
  • Knowledge of research methodology and statistical analysis.
  • Experience using statistical software such as SPSS, Stata, or R.
  • Evidence of research publications or conference presentations is an advantage.
  • Experience in curriculum development, simulation-based education, or quality assurance is desirable
