Job Description
We are now looking for qualified candidate to fulfill the position below:
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead daily news desk operations, commission business coverage, and manage editorial calendars for print and digital channels.
- Oversee copyediting workflows to enforce strict adherence to house style, UK English standards, and media law compliance.
- Supervise beat reporters and contributors, conduct performance appraisals, and provide ongoing professional development.
- Build and maintain strategic networks across corporate, diplomatic, and financial sectors.
Job Requirements
Languages:
- English - Fluent
- Bachelor's Degree
- Journalistic experience in financial or business reporting, with proven experience in an editorial or supervisory role for 2 years
- Exemplary grasp of UK English grammar, style, and publishing conventions
- Deep understanding of macroeconomic policies, trade, banking, corporate finance, and regional market dynamics
- Thorough knowledge of media law, defamation risks, and ethical standards in reporting
- Proficiency with Content Management Systems (CMS), digital publishing tools, newsroom workflow software, and basic data visualization/analysis tools
- Sharp attention to detail, exceptional time management, sound decision-making under tight deadlines, and strong interpersonal communication
