Job Description

VVOB – education for development is a non-profit organization with over 40 years of experience in education. In Cambodia, we work closely with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) to improve quality education through system strengthening. We focus on capacity development in early grade learning, gender-responsiveness, and inclusive education. We implement our programmes and projects with one shared passion: to ensure the improvement of quality education.

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the drafting of short learning briefs, good practice notes, or thematic write-ups based on programme data and field experiences
  • Assisting in the documentation of internal reflections, workshops, or review sessions Organising and synthesising relevant reference materials, field notes, or reports for internal use
  • Supporting knowledge management processes by maintaining shared folders, tagging documents, and contributing to internal learning platforms or resource libraries
  • Providing additional support to programme implementation activities as needed, in coordination with the supervisor
  • Participating in team meetings and learning sessions to observe and document insights for internal sharing
Job Requirements
  • Your expertise and experience
  • Background in education, development studies, research, social sciences, or a related field
  • Strong writing and synthesis skills, with an ability to translate technical or field-based insights into accessible content
  • Familiarity with basic research methods, literature review, or qualitative data (e.g. interviews, case studies, surveys)
  • Comfortable working with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Google Workspace and data tools (e.g. KoboToolbox, simple analytics, citation tools)
  • Professional proficiency in Khmer and English
  • Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and interest in documenting good practices and programme learning
