Job Description

VVOB – education for development is a non-profit organization with over 40 years of experience in education. In Cambodia, we work closely with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) to improve quality education through system strengthening. We focus on capacity development in early grade learning, gender-responsiveness, and inclusive education. We implement our programmes and projects with one shared passion: to ensure the improvement of quality education.

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting and editing content for social media, newsletters, and internal updates
  • Supporting the documentation of events, including taking or selecting photos, collecting quotes, and preparing short summaries or success stories
  • Assisting in the layout, translation, or proofreading of communication materials (Khmer/English)
  • Organizing and maintaining the photo archive and VVOB-branded templates
  • Supporting visibility efforts during workshops and field visits (e.g. photography, basic content capture)
  • Contributing to the preparation of promotional or knowledge products (e.g. quote cards, infographics, presentation materials)
  • Participating in team meetings, planning sessions, and learning activities when relevant
Job Requirements
  • Your expertise and experience
  • Background in communications, journalism, media, development studies, or a related field
  • Strong interest in equity, learning, and system change
  • Experience or familiarity with content creation (e.g. writing, photography, short video, basic design)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with Canva or similar visual platforms is an advantage
  • Ability to communicate clearly in both Khmer and English, in writing and verbally Familiarity with social media platforms and/or content scheduling tools is a plus
