Wildlife Alliance works with local communities and government to protect Cambodia’s forests and biodiversity. The organization is concentrating its operations on implementation of the Southern Cardamom and Samkos REDD+ Projects.
- Write and edit annual reports, project summaries, website content, announcements, fact sheets, case studies, and presentations.
- Prepare accurate project information and due-diligence materials.
- Document institutional and project results and maintain an organized library of approved project documents, evidence, statistics and communications materials.
- Supervise a Khmer-language Communications Officer and oversee Khmer-language community-facing communications.
- Manage Wildlife Alliance and REDD+ project websites and social-media platforms.
- Coordinate media inquiries, interviews, briefing materials and field visits.
- Maintain a communications plan and editorial calendar and ensure that agreed products are completed on time.
- Coordinate technical review of communications materials and escalate sensitive matters to the CEO.

- Bachelor's Degree
- Communications, publications, journalism or external relations for 5 years as a minimum
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated ability to write and edit substantial professional materials.
- Ability to understand technical information and present it accurately to non-specialist audiences.
- Experience managing websites and digital communications, either directly or through technical providers.
- Professional Khmer proficiency and experience in Cambodia are desirable. Experience in REDD+, carbon markets, conservation, community development or another evidence-intensive field would be an advantage but is not required.
- Strong organization and project-management skills.
- Sound judgment when handling sensitive matters.
