Position: Project Coordinator for Local Value Chain Development (LVCD), Business Facilitation (BF) & Saving
Location: Leuk Dek, Kandal Province
Salary & Benefit Package: USD 585– USD 732 per month dependent on your experience and qualifications
THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To establish the producer group for implementing recommendation from Local Value Chain Development and provide regular coaching to Agriculture Cooperative (AC) steering committee on Local Value Chain Development, Business Facilitation and Saving, book keeping to improve their leadership and management for running a profitable businesses. Also build strong connection with key stakeholders to ensure AC product has link to market or contract farming signed with the buyers/company.
- Provide business training, coaching and mentoring to AC steering committee and develop business plan for AC/AC network/Union and keep coaching business implantation.
- Facilitate AC/AC network/Union to link their business with relevance stakeholders through Business Dialogue/Business Forum, exhibition and other activities
- Network and Liaise with Local and Regional Government, NGOs and other Business Groups in order to share and learn from their best practices or approaches
- Prepare market system update or channel connection with buyers/private sectors to update daily price of agriculture products and keep inform to you producers/AC members
- Monitor the progresses by tracking achievement to against planned and report to project manager in monthly basis, also participate in the project baseline survey and evaluation process
- Conduct monthly budget monitoring and report to Project Team Leader to ensure over/under spend is less than 3%
- Economic Agriculture Development/Business Management Development
- At least 1 year experience in economic development, business facilitation and Savings groups. Grants experience in this area is highly preferable.
- Familiarity with the principles and the practice of the value chain development/analysis, Business Facilitation and Saving
- Familiarity with the Royal Government of Cambodia’s policies and programs aimed at improving economic of Agriculture Cooperative
- Strong presentation, facilitation and coordination skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skill, and ability to work closely and supportively within a team
