KSCAC (Kaksekor Sen Chey Agricultural Cooperative) is seeking a qualified and committed Full-Time Crop Manager to lead and strengthen the cooperative’s crop production operations, greenhouse systems, vegetable farming, and field management.

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Aquaponic System Management
  • Plan, operate, supervise, and manage KSCAC’s aquaponic farming system.
  • Oversee the integration of fish production, plant production, water circulation, filtration, and nutrient cycling.
  • Ensure the aquaponic system operates efficiently and sustainably.
  • Maintain biological balance between aquaculture and crop production.
  • Fish & Crop Production Coordination
  • Coordinate fish production with vegetable and crop production within the aquaponic system.
  • Monitor fish growth, fish health, plant growth, nutrient absorption, and overall productivity.
  • Ensure production output aligns with approved production plans and market demand.
  • Balance stocking density, crop loading, and water nutrient availability.
  • Water Quality & Biological System Control
  • Monitor daily water quality parameters including:
  • PH
  • Dissolved Oxygen (DO)
  • Temperature
  • Ammonia
  • Nitritea
  • Nitrate
  • Maintain proper filtration and water recirculation systems.
  • Ensure biological stability and healthy nutrient conversion.
  • Identify and resolve water quality issues promptly.
  • Feed, Nutrient & Input Management
  • Monitor fish feeding and nutrient cycling efficiency.
  • Reduce feed waste and improve feed conversion efficiency.
  • Ensure proper nutrient availability for crops.
  • Control the usage of farming inputs and reduce operational losses.
  • Production Planning & Operational Control
  • Develop production plans for both fish and crops based on market demand.
  • Coordinate daily operations under KSCAC’s Operational Command System (OCS).
  • Monitor production indicators, yields, system efficiency, mortality rates, and crop performance.
  • Ensure production aligns with KSCAC’s profitability and cash flow management objectives.
  • Cost Control & Profitability Management
  • Control operational costs, including feed, water pumps, electricity, seeds, farm inputs, and labor.
  • Reduce system waste and improve operational efficiency.
  • Support KSCAC leadership in identifying profitable and non-profitable aquaponic activities.
  • Contribute to improving return on investment and operational sustainability of aquaponic systems.
  • Operational Reporting & Data Management
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly aquaponic production reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of:
  • Fish biomass
  • Crop yields
  • Water quality
  • Feed usage
  • Mortality rates
  • Input costs
  • Sales output.
  • Coordinate reporting with the Financial Command System and OCS dashboard.
  • Support leadership by providing real-time operational data for decision-making.
  • Team Leadership & Staff Supervision
  • Supervise aquaponic workers and technical staff.
  • Train staff on aquaponic SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), water quality management, feeding protocols, crop care, and sanitation practices.
  • Maintain work discipline, accountability, and productivity.
  • Ensure daily tasks are completed properly, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Sustainable Integrated Farming Support
  • Support KSCAC’s circular agriculture and integrated farming systems.
  • Coordinate aquaponic operations with aquaculture, crop production, livestock, and BSF (Black Soldier Fly) systems.
  • Promote efficient recycling of nutrients, water, and farm waste.
  • Support the development of KSCAC as a system-driven sustainable agricultural cooperative.
  • Market & Harvest Coordination
  • Coordinate harvesting schedules for fish and vegetables with KSCAC’s marketing and sales teams.
  • Ensure supply aligns with buyer demand and market opportunities.
  • Improve product quality and market readiness.
Job Requirements
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Experience in aquaponics, aquaculture, hydroponics, greenhouse farming, or integrated farming systems.
  • Strong understanding of water quality management and biological nutrient cycles.
  • Knowledge of fish farming and crop production systems.
  • Ability to prepare reports and manage operational records.
  • Experience in commercial farming or cooperative systems is an advantage.
Soft Skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Honest, disciplined, hardworking, and responsible.
  • Willingness to stay full-time at the KSCAC Head Office in Kampong Cham Province.
