To support the rapid growth of our operations, LOLC is recruiting the following position:
- Review system logs, security alerts, and monitoring dashboards; perform first-level analysis of suspicious activities and escalate when required.
- Ensure logging, alerting, and audit mechanisms are functioning properly.
- Review and validate user access rights, privileged accounts, and account lifecycle changes; ensure timely disablement of inactive or unauthorized accounts.
- Conduct periodic access reviews for critical systems and IT facilities, including Data Center and DR site access logs.
- Monitor endpoint protection tools (EDR/antivirus) and verify security hygiene such as patch status, backup completion, and configuration compliance.
- Coordinate vulnerability scanning activities and follow up with IT teams or vendors on remediation progress; assist in validating applied security patches and fixes.
- Support Data Center and Disaster Recovery Site’s security control checks and highlight deviations or potential risks.
- Maintain awareness of ISO 27001 requirements and support internal/external audits by providing required technical data.
- Assist in preparing operational data for monthly security posture reports, including incidents, downtime, and regulatory reporting (e.g., NBC).
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience in IT operations, support, or cybersecurity roles for 2 years
- Basic understanding of networks, operating systems, and security fundamentals.
- Willingness to develop skills in security operations and threat monitoring.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to prepare basic reports, maintain documentation, and compile security-related data.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Ability to follow procedures and escalate appropriately.
- Team-oriented, disciplined, and proactive in learning.
- Able to work under pressure and handle multiple operational tasks.
