Job Description

We are now hiring for new school year 2026/2027 starting in August 2026 for our 4 campuses (Phnom Penh Tmei Campus, 598 Campus, OCIC Campus and Norea Campus, a new campus to start for Academic Year 2026-2027).

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Curriculum Development and Delivery:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive computer science curriculum for both primary and secondary students.
  • Create engaging lesson plans that cater to the varying skill levels of students, ensuring alignment with educational standards and school objectives.
  • Instructional Duties:
  • Teach fundamental computer skills to primary students, including basic typing, internet safety, and introductory coding.
  • Instruct secondary students in more advanced topics such as programming languages (e.g., Python, Java), web development, and computer applications.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on projects, group work, and digital tools, to enhance learning.
  • Classroom Management:
  • Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Assessment and Evaluation:
  • Design and administer assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding of computer science concepts.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents and guardians.
  • Technology Integration:
  • Encourage the integration of technology across the curriculum by collaborating with other teachers.
  • Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and incorporate them into teaching practices.
  • Student Support:
  • Identify and support students with varying learning needs, providing additional assistance and resources as needed.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages all students to participate and excel.
  • Professional Development:
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in computer science education and educational technology.
  • Participate in school meetings, committees, and events as required.
  • Extracurricular Activities:
  • Organize and lead extracurricular activities such as coding clubs, tech competitions, and computer science fairs to further student interest in technology.
  • Mentor students in technology-related projects and competitions.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field is required
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Prior teaching experience in computer science or related fields at the primary or secondary level (preferred).
  • Experience with curriculum development and the use of educational technology in the classroom.
  • Strong knowledge of computer science principles, programming languages, and digital tools.
  • Proficiency in using educational software and technology.
Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
