Job Description

We are now hiring for new school year 2026/2027 starting in August 2026 for our 4 campuses (Phnom Penh Tmei Campus, 598 Campus, OCIC Campus and Norea Campus, a new campus to start for Academic Year 2026-2027).

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Curriculum Development and Delivery:
  • Design and implement a dynamic curriculum that integrates music and visual arts, aligned with educational standards and school goals.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Music Instruction:
  • Teach students the fundamentals of music theory, instrumental skills, and vocal techniques.
  • Conduct school choirs, bands, or orchestras, and prepare students for performances and recitals.
  • Foster an appreciation for various musical genres and cultural traditions.
  • Visual Arts Instruction:
  • Introduce students to different art techniques, mediums, and styles.
  • Guide students in creating individual and collaborative art projects.
  • Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression through art.
  • Assessment and Evaluation:
  • Assess and evaluate student progress in both music and visual arts.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s development.
  • Classroom Management:
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages artistic exploration and respect for diverse perspectives.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a productive learning atmosphere.
  • Extracurricular Activities:
  • Organize and lead extracurricular activities such as art clubs, music ensembles, and school performances.
  • Coordinate art exhibitions and music showcases to display student work and talent.
  • Professional Development:
  • Stay current with best practices in music and art education through ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall arts program and integrate arts into other subject areas.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Music, Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Prior teaching experience in music and/or visual arts at the primary or secondary level (preferred).
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment design.
  • Proficiency in one or more musical instruments and a strong understanding of music theory.
  • Expertise in various visual arts techniques and mediums.
  • Familiarity with educational technology and digital art tools.
Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
