We are currently seeking the qualified and competitive dynamic candidates to fill the following position(s) as below:
- Teaching and Learning
- Deliver the approved kindergarten curriculum in line with MoEYS guidance and SOS School standards.
- Prepare daily and weekly lesson plans using play-based learning approaches.
- Use creative teaching aids, songs, stories, games, and activities to support learning.
- Conduct simple assessments to monitor children’s development and learning progress.
- Maintain an inclusive classroom that supports all children, including those with additional needs.
- Child Care and Classroom Environment
- Ensure the classroom is safe, clean, child-friendly, and well organized.
- Support children’s hygiene habits, eating routines, and daily care.
- Maintain classroom discipline using positive, non-violent approaches.
- Closely supervise children at all times inside and outside the classroom
- Safeguarding and Child Protection
- Follow SOS Cambodia Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy at all times.
- Immediately report any child protection concern to the School Principal
- Ensure children are treated with dignity, respect, and care.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of children’s information.
- Record Keeping and Reporting
- Keep attendance records and simple child progress records.
- Prepare brief reports on children’s development when required.
- Participating in parent meetings to discuss the child's progress
- Parent and School Engagement
- Maintain positive communication with parents and caregivers.
- Participating in school meetings, events, and activities
- Work closely with other teachers and school staff to ensure a supportive learning environment.
- Professional Conduct
- Follow SOS School policies, Code of Conduct, and confidentiality requirements.
- Maintain professional boundaries with children and families.
- Participate in training and professional development activities.
- English - Good
- High School Diploma
- At least experience working with young children (preferred) for 1 year
- Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Teaching
- Basic understanding of child development and early learning methods
- Ability to create a caring and patient learning environment.
- Patience, kindness, and enthusiasm for working with children.
- Good classroom management skills
- Good communication skills with children and parents
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic record-keeping skills
