- Ponlok Chomnes Communication Intern
- The Communication Intern will assist the Ponlok Chomnes team to:
- Manage digital platforms and content – Develop and distribute content in Khmer and English on the website, social media (Facebook, X, LinkedIn), and Mailchimp; monitor and update mailing lists; review online platforms regularly; and coordinate with the website developer to resolve technical issues.
- Implement dissemination plan – Create and post content in line with the program’s communication calendar.
- Design communication materials – Produce digital posters, newsletters, infographics, and event backdrops; ensure designs follow branding guidelines; and adapt materials for web, social media, and print.
- Support videography and photography – Film and photograph events/social media campaigns; manage lighting and sound; edit videos and photos for communication use; and maintain a well-organised media archive.
- Analyse and report – Track online engagement, compile lessons learned and produce monthly performance reports.
- Assist with public events – Organise logistics, manage video activities, provide on-site communication support, and assist the Program Communications team as needed.
- The intern should meet the following criteria:
- Fourth-year university student or recent graduate in media, communication, graphic design, information management, computer science, or related fields.
- Strong interest in communication, media, and development work, with eagerness to learn and apply communication strategies.
- Basic skills in photography, videography, and video editing, with a desire to improve professionally.
- Proficient with MS Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, Canva, or other design and video editing tools.
- Creative, innovative, and able to produce engaging content across multiple platforms.
- Understanding of local and regional policies and development issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural team.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage competing priorities.
- Good command of English and Khmer, written and spoken.
