The NGO Forum on Cambodia is a well-respected membership-based organization. It comprises 70 local and international non-governmental organizations, each specializing in different areas of humanitarian and development assistance to Cambodia. NGOF exists to represent the priorities and concerns of these civil society organizations, which are accountable to the poor and vulnerable people of Cambodia. The NGO Forum was established in the early 1980s by international NGOs campaigning for an end to the aid embargo imposed on Cambodia at that time. Over the last three decades, the NGO Forum has evolved in response to the changing socio-political climate of the country. Since its inception, the NGO Forum has accumulated significant institutional expertise in convening CSOs, facilitating networks of members in shared advocacy work, representing the diversity of members’ views and interests, and constructively engaging with government, development partners, and the private sector. Currently, the NGO Forum is seeking a qualified Cambodian candidate for the positions below:
- Lead analyst for climate tagging; facilitator for consultations; writer/designer for infographic-heavy outputs.
- NGO Forum on Cambodia provides budget data, introductions, workshop logistics, and project networks (e.g., BWG, youth programs).
- English - Fluent
- Khmer - Fluent
- Phd
- Master's Degree in Climate Finance, Public Finance, Economics, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of Cambodian budget/climate analysis experience (e.g., Climate Public Expenditure Review (CPER) tagging). for 5 years as a minimum
- Civil Society Organization (CSO) experience (e.g., BWG, METRI youth initiatives); fluent Khmer/English.
- Quantitative skills (Excel/Stata) plus visualization skills (submit a Citizen Climate Budget (CCB)-style sample).
