Job Description
We are now looking for qualified candidate to fulfill the position below:
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise students and pool users to ensure safe swimming practices.
- Enforce all pool rules and school safety policies.
- Monitor the pool area continuously to prevent accidents or unsafe behavior.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including water rescues.
- Provide first aid, CPR, or AED assistance when required.
- Conduct routine safety checks of the pool and surrounding facilities.
- Assist teachers, coaches, and swim instructors during classes or activities.
- Maintain accurate incident and accident reports.
- Ensure lifesaving equipment is accessible and in good condition.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck and equipment areas.
Job Requirements
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
- Current Lifeguard Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., Red Cross or equivalent).
- Valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
- Strong swimming and water rescue skills.
- Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
- Ability to swim strongly and perform water rescues.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while monitoring the pool.
- Ability to lift or assist swimmers during rescue situations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working with children or in a school environment preferred.
