SOS Children’s Villages Cambodia (www.soscambodia.org) is a Member Association (MA) of the SOS Children’s Villages International federation, which is one of the largest non-for-profit organisations in the world dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people without parental care or at risk of losing it. We are currently seeking the qualified and competitive dynamic candidates to fill the following position(s) as below:

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Enterprise operations and quality control (30%)
  • Oversee daily operations of all SOS Cambodia social enterprise sites (schools, eco-lodges, agriculture, training hubs, service units).
  • Support Project Managers to run enterprises with clear SOPs, pricing, staffing, and service standards.
  • Ensure sites are safe, clean, functional, and safeguarding-compliant.
  • Monitor stock, procurement, cash handling, and documentation practices.
  • Conduct regular field monitoring visits and coaching.
  • Business planning and sustainability (25%)
  • Prepare business plans, pricing models, and break-even analysis for each site.
  • Identify practical income opportunities linked to youth skills, FSP, and community engagement.
  • Conduct simple market assessments before launching activities.
  • Support feasibility studies for new sites (Phnom Penh, Battambang, Siem Reap, Ratanak Kiri, Kampot, Prey Veng, others).
  • Work with Finance on cost control and monthly income tracking.
  • Legal compliance, licensing, and government coordination (15%)
  • Ensure all activities comply with NGO status and Cambodian law and remain program-linked.
  • Coordinate with the Ministry of Interior for LANGO compliance and activity notification.
  • Liaise with the Ministry of Economy and Finance and GDT on tax registration, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Ensure labour compliance with the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training.
  • Obtaining sector permits where needed:
  • Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport
  • Ministry of Tourism for lodges/guesthouses
  • Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries for farming/rice trade
  • Ministry of Health for food services
  • Ministry of Commerce
  • Other government departments
  • Maintain a license and renewal tracker for all sites.
  • Ensure consultation with the commune, district, and provincial authorities before operations.
  • Marketing, visibility, and partnerships (10%)
  • Promote SOS Cambodia social enterprises through simple, ethical marketing.
  • Coordinate with Communications for social media, brochures, and stories.
  • Build local partnerships with schools, tourism actors, buyers, and training institutes.
  • Ensure branding follows SOS Cambodia safeguarding standards.
  • Monitoring, reporting, and improvement (10%)
  • Track income, expenses, customers, and social outcomes.
  • Produce quarterly summary reports for management and donors.
  • Identify problems early and recommend practical improvements.
  • Align reporting with the SOS Cambodia Performance Monitoring Plan.
  • Capacity building and internal coordination (10%)
  • Train Project Managers and site staff on basic enterprise management.
  • Develop simple SOPs, checklists, and tools for field use.
  • Work closely with Program, Finance, HR, and Procurement.
Job Requirements
Languages:
  • Khmer - Fluent
  • English - Fluent
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Social Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or related field
  • Master's Degree is preferred
Work History:
  • At least of proven experience managing social enterprises, small businesses, or sustainable livelihood projects for 3 to 5 years
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of financial management, business planning, and donor-funded programs.
  • Proven ability to design and implement sustainability and marketing strategies.
  • Experience in partnership building with the government, the private sector, and community organizations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, digital marketing tools, and data management platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills in Khmer and English (written and spoken).
  • Strategic and analytical thinking
