Job Description

We are now looking for qualified candidate to fulfill the position below:

  • Compensation & Benefits Unit Supervisor
Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Compensation Strategy:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive compensation philosophy and strategy that aligns with ZYIS's mission and values.
  • Conduct market research and benchmark analyses to ensure competitive salaries and benefits.
  • Design and administer salary structures, job evaluations, and performance-based incentive programs.
  • Benefits Administration:
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations regarding compensation and benefits.
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure the best possible rates and coverage for employee benefits.
  • Payroll Management:
  • Supervise the accurate and timely processing of payroll, including taxes, deductions, and other payroll-related activities.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and maintain accurate payroll records.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Guide and mentor the Compensation & Benefits Officer(s) to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
  • Communication & Education:
  • Effectively communicate compensation and benefits information to employees, ensuring transparency and understanding.
  • Develop educational materials and resources to help employees make informed decisions about their benefits options.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Utilize data analysis tools to track compensation trends, monitor benefits utilization, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports for the Head of HR and other stakeholders on compensation and benefits metrics.
  • General Support:
  • Provide operational support, assist with special projects, and undertake tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Education:
  • At least Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certifications are highly valued.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compensation and benefits management, preferably in the education sector, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing HR teams.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and trends.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of Cambodian labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Desirable Qualities
  • Understands the unique needs and challenges of the education sector.
  • Aligns HR initiatives with ZYIS's overall goals and objectives.
  • Ability to balance the needs of employees and the organization.
