Job Description
We are now looking for qualified candidate to fulfill the position below:
- Compensation & Benefits Unit Supervisor
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Compensation Strategy:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive compensation philosophy and strategy that aligns with ZYIS's mission and values.
- Conduct market research and benchmark analyses to ensure competitive salaries and benefits.
- Design and administer salary structures, job evaluations, and performance-based incentive programs.
- Benefits Administration:
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations regarding compensation and benefits.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure the best possible rates and coverage for employee benefits.
- Payroll Management:
- Supervise the accurate and timely processing of payroll, including taxes, deductions, and other payroll-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and maintain accurate payroll records.
- Team Leadership:
- Guide and mentor the Compensation & Benefits Officer(s) to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
- Communication & Education:
- Effectively communicate compensation and benefits information to employees, ensuring transparency and understanding.
- Develop educational materials and resources to help employees make informed decisions about their benefits options.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Utilize data analysis tools to track compensation trends, monitor benefits utilization, and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports for the Head of HR and other stakeholders on compensation and benefits metrics.
- General Support:
- Provide operational support, assist with special projects, and undertake tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Education:
- At least Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certifications are highly valued.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compensation and benefits management, preferably in the education sector, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing HR teams.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and trends.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of Cambodian labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Proficiency in using HRIS and payroll systems.
- Desirable Qualities
- Understands the unique needs and challenges of the education sector.
- Aligns HR initiatives with ZYIS's overall goals and objectives.
- Ability to balance the needs of employees and the organization.
