The EU has a long-standing relation with Cambodia. Through substantial development assistance, support to democratic and good governance processes and a commitment to open markets, the EU has been assisting Cambodia in its efforts to build a brighter future for its population.
Landell Mills International has been contracted by the European Union Delegation to Cambodia to enhance EU relations, partnership and cooperation with the Kingdom of Cambodia through more effective communication and visibility of EU's principles and values, external policies and actions.
To fulfill this contract, we are seeking to recruit various non-key expert positions for part-time roles based on contracts measured in days, starting from the second quarter of 2026 and continuing through December 2027.
- English - Fluent is required
- Khmer is preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in design, branding, visual communication, creative direction, or related field.
- Professional experience in branding, visual identity development, or creative direction for 10 years as a minimum
- Experience specifically in brand development, visual identity systems, or campaign creative direction. for 6 years as a minimum
- Advanced proficiency in professional design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of digital-first branding, youth-oriented visual communication, and evolving visual trends.
- Demonstrated ability to translate communication strategy into adaptable visual systems and brand guidelines.
- Professional working proficiency in English required; Khmer is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience leading or guiding brand development, visual identity systems, or campaign creative direction for communication or visibility campaigns.
- Experience working with institutional, public sector, development, or large-scale communication campaigns will be considered an asset.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or multicultural environments will be considered an asset.
- Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including designers, video teams, and communication specialists.
- Demonstrated experience developing or updating brand guidelines and visual systems used across multiple communication outputs.
- Participation in at least 4 branding or campaign-led creative assignments where the candidate contributed to brand creation, refresh, or evolution.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining and evolving a brand or visual identity over time across multiple formats and platforms.
- Experience ensuring brand consistency across digital, print, OOH, and audiovisual content.
- Relevance and depth of branding and creative direction experience
- Quality and strategic coherence of portfolio
- Experience developing and evolving campaign visual identities
- Ability to create adaptable visual systems for multi-platform use
- Experience working with institutional or development communication (asset)
