The EU has a long-standing relation with Cambodia. Through substantial development assistance, support to democratic and good governance processes and a commitment to open markets, the EU has been assisting Cambodia in its efforts to build a brighter future for its population.
Landell Mills International has been contracted by the European Union Delegation to Cambodia to enhance EU relations, partnership and cooperation with the Kingdom of Cambodia through more effective communication and visibility of EU's principles and values, external policies and actions.
To fulfill this contract, we are seeking to recruit various non-key expert positions for part-time roles based on contracts measured in days, starting from the second quarter of 2026 and continuing through December 2027.
- Khmer - Fluent is preferred
- English - Fluent
- Professional experience in motion graphics and animation, preferably in a communication, marketing, or institutional setting for 5 years as a minimum
- Animation Skills: Exceptional animation abilities with a proven track record of creating visually compelling and accurate content.
- Storytelling: Proficiency in developing engaging narratives and translating them into animation sequences.
- Research Skills: Ability to translate communication concepts, scripts, or briefing documents into clear and visually engaging animation outputs.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including communications, marketing, and design.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple animation projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in industry-standard motion graphics and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Blender, Cinema4D or equivalent).
- Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English (written, spoken, and understood) with the ability to adapt animation content for different audiences. Khmer fluency is preferred.
- Knowledge of EU Activities: Familiarity with the European Union's initiatives and activities, especially in Cambodia, would be an advantage.
- Trends: Knowledge of current youth-centric animation trends to best develop content for social media.
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust animation style and visuals based on feedback and the specific needs of different platforms or audiences.
- Relevance and number of years of professional experience
- Quality and originality of animation portfolio
- Experience producing motion graphics for institutional or development communication
- Technical proficiency in animation software
- Ability to translate communication objectives into engaging animated content
