Job Description
Crestar Education Group Pte Ltd, a long-established education group in Singapore, has been at the forefront of educational excellence since the founding of Kinderland Preschool in 1979. Over the past 46 years, Kinderland has expanded its presence to 12 countries, with 120 schools serving over 20,000 students across the region. In 2022, Crestar Education Group officially entered the Kingdom of Cambodia, and in August 2024, we are proud to launch our first overseas international school, TG International School, as well as Kinderland International Preschool, in Phnom Penh.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans that adhere to the Cambridge curriculum standards.
- Teach advanced topics in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry using diverse instructional methods and resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and refine the integrated curriculum, ensuring it meets Cambridge guidelines.
- Utilize technology and laboratory resources to enhance the learning experience and student engagement.
- Create and administer a variety of assessments to measure student understanding and progress.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to facilitate student improvement and success.
- Establish a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and active participation.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Offer individualized support for students struggling with course material.
- Encourage participation in science fairs, competitions, and enrichment activities related to Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
- Stay updated on advancements in educational practices, particularly within the Cambridge framework and relevant scientific fields.
- Engage in professional development opportunities, workshops, and seminars to enhance pedagogical skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and academic performance.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching experience in high school, specifically with the Cambridge of IGCSE and A Level for 1 to 3 years as a minimum
- A teaching credential or certification in secondary education is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of advanced Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and laboratory equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students in STEM subjects.
