- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
- Support students in understanding and completing assignments, providing clarification and guidance as needed.
- Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce lessons and promote skill development.
- Monitor and facilitate student progress, reporting any concerns to the classroom teacher.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of classroom materials, supplies, and resources for lessons and activities.
- Set up and clean up classroom materials and equipment before and after activities.
- Help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment by managing student behavior and promoting respectful interactions.
- Implement strategies to encourage student engagement and participation.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with the teaching staff to develop lesson plans and classroom strategies.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and improve teaching practices.
- Stay current with educational trends and best practices relevant to supporting student learning.
- Bachelor's Degree in education or related field.
- Experience working in an international (Preferred)
- Ability to follow teacher instructions and adapt to classroom needs.
- Warm, patient and child-centered approach.
- Collaborative, flexible and supportive of teacher leadership.
