Job Description

Bandos Komar Association is a Cambodian NGO localized from French NGO PARTAGE. Bandos Komar’s programs are currently focusing on: (1) Integrated Early Childhood Care and Development (2)Integrated Quality Basic Education and (3) Skill for Profession. Bandos Komar is now looking for commitment and qualified talents persons to fulfill the position below:

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • FUNCTIONS and TASKS
  • Jobholder plan:
  • Yearly, quarterly and Monthly budget planning of administrative and accounting in the provincial level.
  • Supplies and equipments for program and office in his/her site assigned.
  • Administrative and Accounting internal control.
  • Monthly Plan Cash Preparation for Expense Disbursement.
  • Outputs and deliverable:
  • Provide Administrative/Operation Support:
  • Assist to appropriately implement administrative procedures
  • Assist to facilitate communication work as telephones, fax, e-mail and mails including information board.
  • Prepare transportation arrangements, hotel and ticket reservations for staff and visitors.
  • Assist to prepare the annual inventory list
  • When training, workshop and meeting conduct all logistic tasks, training materials/equipments and venue are organized and monitored together with concerned staff.
  • Assist to ensure all related documents of procurements is properly implemented and monitored).
  • Office Management:
  • Assist in general offices management to ensure efficient and effective function,
  • Assist in general office upkeep including equipments, furniture, fittings and building,
  • Assist in maintaining security measures at all times.
  • Accounting and Finance:
  • Assist to ensure that the accounting/finance policies and procedures are enforced to implement with strict discipline,
  • Involve internal finance/ accounting control to ensure effective and accurate financial management
  • Assist to review cash flow projections and ensure sufficiently required funds for payment.
  • Manage Petty cash.
  • Assist to track the expenditures and kept on timely manner and accuracy.
  • All cash advances and cash receipt be deposited on time, which is compliance with policies and procedures,
  • Other duties:
  • Keep Administrative & Financer Manager in Phnom Penh updated of the issues and actions to be taken
  • monthly planning is submitted and reported to Administrative & Finance Manager in Phnom Penh
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor are performed.
  • LEVEL/SCOPE OF DUTIES:
  • The post holder oversees:
  • Assist in General Administrative/Accountant and Personnel Management.
  • Mainly accounting and finance work.
  • Assist in Budget planning, in control
  • Assist in maintaining and managing offices and fixed assets.
  • Assist other in accounting and banking matters.
Job Requirements
Languages:
  • English - Basic
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma as a minimum
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administrative, Finance and Accounting management or related field
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Some experience on accounting, and financial
  • Internal Control implementation, inventory systems
  • Proficiency on computer, E-mail, windows, word processing, MS. Excel, Spreadsheet, PowerPoint and Accounting Software (QuickBooks) will be preferable.
  • basic knowledge on written and spoken English
  • Basic knowledge of Administrative, Financial, Accounting, budgeting, controlling, and reporting principles including communication system.
  • Logistic/procurement
  • Personnel related works including Cambodia Labor Law.
  • Some experience on Administrative, Finance and Accounting or Fresh Bachelor Degree in Business Administrative, Finance and Accounting management or related field.
