Job Description
KiriTes Farm Co., Ltd. is a Cambodian private limited company engaged in agricultural construction, farm infrastructure development, and commercial agricultural production. The company provides construction and installation services for net houses, glasshouses/greenhouses, plumbing and irrigation systems, and other farm-related infrastructure.
Alongside its construction activities, KiriTes develops and operates integrated crop and livestock production, including vegetables, chilli, and chicken. The company combines infrastructure development, technical expertise, and farm operations to support efficient, safe, sustainable, and commercially viable agricultural production.
As part of its expansion across five provinces in the Tonle Sap region, KiriTes works with farmers, agricultural communities, technical specialists, and market partners to strengthen production quality, food safety and traceability, local employment, and market access.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Strategic Leadership and governance
- Work with the Founder or Managing Director to define the company’s strategic direction and development priorities.
- Lead the preparation and implementation of business plans, budgets, operational targets and performance indicators.
- Establish an appropriate organisational structure, reporting lines, policies and internal controls in coordination with relevant managers.
- Report company performance, risks, investment needs and expansion recommendations to the Founder or Managing Director.
- Operations, production and commercial management
- Review consolidated production and sales plans for chilli, vegetables and chicken and recommend major resource requirements to the Founder.
- Review consolidated performance reports prepared by the Project Manager, Finance Manager, QC Assistant Manager and technical specialists, and require follow-up actions on significant gaps.
- Resolve escalated operational issues within delegated authority and refer major financial, contractual or reputational risks to the Founder.
- Review major buyer and supplier agreements, pricing, expansion and contract-farming proposals and make recommendations for Founder approval.
- Assess and recommend new production sites, contract-farming arrangements, agricultural-community partnerships and value-added product opportunities.
- Quality, Standards and Compliance
- Hold the QC Manager, Project Manager and technical specialists accountable for implementing approved quality, food-safety, traceability and biosecurity requirements.
- Review consolidated reports on non-conformities, customer complaints, product rejections, audit findings and corrective actions.
- Direct management action on serious quality, food-safety or animal-health risks and escalate significant legal or commercial risks to the Founder.
- Ensure responsible managers maintain compliance with company policies, buyer contracts and applicable Cambodian regulations.
- Financial, resource and risk management
- Review company budgets, cash-flow forecasts and procurement plans prepared by the Finance Manager and relevant department managers.
- Approve expenditure and resource allocation within delegated authority and recommend major financial commitments to the Founder.
- Review financial results, production costs, margins, budget variances, inventory and outstanding receivables and payables.
- Review major financial, operational, market, legal and biosecurity risks and ensure responsible managers implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Monitoring, evaluation and reporting
- Establish company-level performance indicators and reporting requirements in consultation with the Project Manager, Finance Manager, QC Manager and technical specialists.
- Review consolidated operational, production, quality, financial and commercial reports against approved plans and targets.
- Chair regular management reviews, require corrective actions for significant performance gaps and monitor follow-up through responsible managers.
- Conduct periodic management visits to verify major operational issues and the reliability of reported results.
- Present consolidated performance, risks and recommendations to the Founder or Managing Director.
- Stakeholder and partnership management
- Maintain strategic relationships with government authorities, agricultural communities, buyers, suppliers, financial institutions and business partners.
- Represent KiriTes in major meetings, negotiations and partnership discussions within delegated authority.
- Refer commitments involving major investment, contractual liability or strategic change to the Founder for approval.
Job Requirements
Languages:
- Khmer - Good
- English - Good
- Master's Degree
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Agribusiness, Agriculture, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- Relevant experience for 10 years as a minimum
- Senior management or general-management role. for 5 years
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management or general-management role.
- Proven experience managing multi-site agricultural, food-production, trading or agribusiness operations.
- Strong understanding of crop and livestock production, agricultural supply chains, contract farming and commercial operations.
- Demonstrated competence in business planning, budgeting, financial review, operational oversight and risk management.
- Ability to interpret consolidated production, quality, financial and commercial reports and make appropriate management decisions.
- Practical understanding of food safety, traceability, GAP, IPM and chicken-biosecurity requirements.
- Good written and spoken Khmer and English, with strong digital and management-reporting skills.
- Strong leadership, team-management, negotiation, stakeholder-engagement and problem-solving skills.
- High integrity, accountability and ability to manage confidential or high-pressure matters.
- Willingness to travel regularly to farms, agricultural communities and provincial project sites.
