Job Description
KiriTes Farm Co., Ltd. is a Cambodian private limited company engaged in agricultural construction, farm infrastructure development, and commercial agricultural production. The company provides construction and installation services for net houses, glasshouses/greenhouses, plumbing and irrigation systems, and other farm-related infrastructure.
Alongside its construction activities, KiriTes develops and operates integrated crop and livestock production, including vegetables, chilli, and chicken. The company combines infrastructure development, technical expertise, and farm operations to support efficient, safe, sustainable, and commercially viable agricultural production.
As part of its expansion across five provinces in the Tonle Sap region, KiriTes works with farmers, agricultural communities, technical specialists, and market partners to strengthen production quality, food safety and traceability, local employment, and market access.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Engineering Design & Technical Planning
- Conduct and review site surveys, topographic data, land levels, soil conditions, drainage, and construction requirements.
- Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and cost estimates for net houses, greenhouses/glasshouses, farm buildings, roads, drainage systems, water-storage facilities, and related infrastructure.
- Review structural foundations, earthworks, concrete works, steel structures, drainage, and associated plumbing/irrigation infrastructure to ensure suitability for site conditions and operations.
- Provide technical recommendations on design alternatives, construction methods, materials, and cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Construction & Installation Supervision
- Supervise construction and installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, schedules, and safety requirements.
- Monitor net-house and greenhouse construction, including foundations, structural frames, drainage, plumbing/irrigation connections, and associated civil works.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, technicians, and project teams to resolve technical and site-related issues.
- Identify construction defects, technical deviations, or unsafe conditions and ensure appropriate corrective actions are completed.
- Land, Water & Farm Infrastructure
- Plan and review land grading, earthworks, drainage canals, water-control structures, ponds/reservoirs, culverts, embankments, and farm roads.
- Verify levels, slopes, excavation and filling quantities, drainage capacity, and erosion-control requirements.
- Ensure infrastructure designs effectively support agricultural production, water management, accessibility, and long-term site operation.
- Quality, Cost & Project Documentation
- Inspect construction materials, dimensions, workmanship, levels, and test results against approved technical requirements.
- Verify construction progress and completed quantities and review contractor payment claims, variations, and additional works before providing technical recommendations.
- Maintain and review site inspection records, progress reports, test results, as-built drawings, defect lists, and handover documentation.
- Provide regular technical and construction progress reports to the Project Manager/management.
Job Requirements
Languages:
- Khmer - Good
- English - Good
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering field
- Civil engineering, construction, infrastructure, or related projects for 5 years as a minimum
- Practical experience in building/structural works, steel structures, foundations, earthworks, drainage, water infrastructure, roads, or agricultural construction.
- Experience with greenhouse, net-house, agricultural facility, irrigation/plumbing infrastructure, or similar construction projects is highly preferred.
- Strong ability to prepare and review engineering drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.
- Good knowledge of concrete works, steel structures, soil compaction, drainage, construction materials, quality control, and site safety.
- Ability to interpret topographic surveys, site levels, structural/civil drawings, and construction details.
- Experience supervising contractors, inspecting construction quality, verifying completed quantities, and reviewing payment and variation documents.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Civil 3D, structural/design software, or surveying equipment is an advantage.
- Good communication skills in Khmer, with working proficiency in English.
- Willingness to travel regularly and work at construction, farm, or project sites as required.
- Strong technical judgement, site coordination, leadership, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
