Job Description
We are looking for qualified candidate to fill for the position below.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Academic Coordination
- Implement national and international curricula under the guidance of the School Principal.
- Coordinate academic calendars, teaching schedules, and subject coverage.
- Supervise lesson planning and ensure alignment with learning outcomes.
- Conduct classroom observations and follow up with coaching or support.
- Oversee assessment practices and maintain academic record accuracy.
- Operational Oversight
- Manage daily school operations including logistics, timetables, substitute teaching, and facility coordination.
- Ensure all departments operate efficiently and according to SOPs.
- Support in executing school development and operational plans.
- Teacher Development & Monitoring
- Organize mentoring sessions, performance reviews, and professional development.
- Coordinate teacher award nominations with proper documentation and criteria.
- Monitor teacher attendance, punctuality, and workload balance.
- Student Support
- Monitor student progress and support interventions for underperforming students.
- Support implementation of extra classes, remediation, and academic enrichment.
- Coordinate with discipline and student services for behavior management.
- Parent and Stakeholder Communication
- Support school-parent communication regarding academic and operational matters.
- Participate in organizing parent meetings and feedback sessions.
- Assist with reports, presentations, and issue resolution.
- Emergency and Risk Preparedness
- Assist in planning and conducting emergency drills.
- Support compliance with school safety procedures and emergency response plans.
- Daily Responsibilities
- Direct student intake and manage student discharge procedures.
- Supervise the school environment, ensuring proper sanitation, order, and cleanliness across the campus and buildings.
- Oversee the discipline and professional conduct of all employees within the branch.
- Monitor employee attendance, including clock-in and clock-out hours.
- Track staff positions and ensure adequate staffing coverage throughout the day.
- Supervise daytime childcare services to maintain high-quality standards and build trust with parents and clients.
- Weekly Responsibilities
- Lead sectional meetings to:
- Review weekly accomplishments.
- Identify challenges and develop solutions.
- Plan for the upcoming week’s tasks.
- Monitor and evaluate daily and weekly work plans by each section.
- Review and verify inventory lists maintained by each section.
- Oversee adherence to the school’s work calendar to ensure timely execution of scheduled programs.
- Supervise and evaluate campus-wide cleaning and maintenance activities.
- Track and assess progress on implementation plans across various departments or segments.
- Monthly Responsibilities
- Review and approve material and supply requests submitted by each section.
- Monitor attendance data, including thumb scan records and teacher signature lists.
- Verify payroll details prior to submission to the Human Resources Office.
- Review and approve each section’s monthly work summary report before forwarding it to the Head Office.
- Lead monthly sectional meetings with a focus on:
- Client and parent service quality.
- Childcare services.
- Automotive and related service operations.
- Plan and execute marketing activities aimed at attracting new students.
- Conduct mentoring sessions with inactive or underperforming employees to identify challenges and support improvement.
- Develop the following month’s operational plan and objectives.
- Review and consolidate the cumulative accounts list and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Prepare and submit the Monthly Employment Report Summary.
- School Participation
- Attend school functions, training, field trips, and community events.
- Represent the Principal during absences or delegated responsibilities.
Job Requirements
Languages:
- Khmer - Fluent is preferred
- English - Fluent
- Bachelor's Degree in Education
- Master's Degree in Educational Leadership or Curriculum & Instruction is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of teaching and 2 years in academic leadership or coordination
- Familiarity with MoEYS standards and international curricula (e.g., Australian, Singaporean)
- Experience with teacher development, classroom observation, and academic data analysis
- Strong knowledge of curriculum planning, lesson design, and assessment practices
- Excellent communication skills in English (Khmer fluency is a plus)
- Leadership and mentoring skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to academic details
- Ability to work with school information systems, Google Workspace, and digital learning tools
