Job Description
We are looking for qualified candidate to fill for the position below.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Curriculum or Course Outline Delivery
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with the PSIS Curriculum and course outline standard.
- Ensure curriculum, course outline and expectation standards, learning objectives, and differentiation strategies are met.
- Assessment and Reporting
- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments.
- Monitor student progress and prepare timely, accurate academic reports.
- Classroom Climate and Inclusion
- Create a respectful, safe, and inclusive classroom.
- Promote active participation and positive student behaviour.
- . Professional Collaboration and Development
- Collaborate with peers in curriculum and course outline planning and school events.
- Participate actively in mentoring programs, professional development, and monthly technical education meetings.
- Reflective Practice and Teacher Awards
- Self-evaluate teaching effectiveness and student learning outcomes.
- Maintain a professional portfolio for teacher awards and recognition.
- Parent and Caregiver Engagement
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and behaviour.
- Actively prepare, support and participate in parent-teacher conferences and learning partnerships, 2 times per year.
- Child Protection and School Culture
- Uphold and model child protection policies and code of conduct.
- Contribute to a positive school culture through events and student support.
- Marketing Participation
- Support the school’s promotional activities, such as open days and student showcases.
- Risk Management and Crisis Response
- Implement classroom-level risk management strategies.
- Respond to incidents or emergencies in accordance with the school’s crisis protocol.
Job Requirements
Languages:
- English - Fluent
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, English, or a related field is required
- Teaching experience with young learners, preferably in a bilingual or international school for 1 to 2 years
- Teaching Qualification such as TESOL or TEFL (preferred, especially for early childhood or primary level).
- Experience using student-centered teaching methods.
- Native-level fluency in English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to integrate play-based and inquiry-based learning strategies.
- Proficiency with digital tools used in modern classrooms (e.g., smartboards, tablets, Google Classroom).
