Job Description

Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Programs Under Supervision
- The After School Educational Programs Manager oversees and supports programs including, but not limited to:
- Academic and Language Programs
- English as a Second Language (ESL) Program
- Institute of Foreign Language (IFL)
- ELiF English Program
- Khmer Support Programs
- Chinese Language Programs
- Subject Matter Extra Classes
- Homework Support Programs
- Exam Preparation Programs
- Academic Intervention Programs
- And other related STEM, Technology Programs and Related Enrichment and Student Development Programs
- Robotics Programs
- Coding and Programming Classes
- Drone Technology Programs
- STEM and Innovation Programs
- Other Programs
- New educational enrichment programs developed by AYLA-PSIS
- Partner educational programs
- Short courses, workshops, and special projects assigned by management
- Principal Accountabilities
- Program Leadership and Management
- Lead the implementation and quality assurance of all after-school educational programs across campuses.
- Develop annual plans, growth strategies, implementation schedules, and operational targets.
- Ensure programs align with AYLA educational standards and strategic priorities.
- Monitor program quality, student engagement, attendance, and learning outcomes.
- Conduct regular campus visits, observations, and meetings to ensure effective implementation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management.
- Academic and Technical Leadership
- Provide technical and academic leadership for all after-school programs.
- Support curriculum planning, lesson quality, teaching methodologies, and assessment systems.
- Develop and review teaching resources, learning materials, and implementation guides.
- Monitor instructional quality and provide coaching and constructive feedback to staff.
- Support integration of educational technologies and digital learning tools.
- Work closely with ICT and Academic Teams to ensure smooth technical implementation.
- Staff Supervision and Capacity Building
- Supervise coordinators/supervisors, teachers, trainers, and support staff across campuses.
- Organise teacher training, mentoring, workshops, and coaching programs.
- Support induction and onboarding for new teachers and program staff.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide professional feedback.
- Build a collaborative, positive, and high-performing team culture.
- Marketing, Enrolment, and Business Growth
- Lead strategies to increase student enrolment and program participation.
- Work closely with Marketing Teams and campuses to promote programs effectively.
- Support development of marketing campaigns, demonstrations, student showcases, and parent engagement activities.
- Analyse market trends, parent expectations, and competitor programs.
- Identify opportunities for new educational programs and business growth.
- Support enrolment retention and parent satisfaction initiatives.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Build strong professional relationships with School Principals, campus leaders, teachers, parents, and external partners.
- Support campuses professionally and respectfully while maintaining AYLA standards.
- Collaborate with school leadership teams to ensure successful and smooth implementation.
- Coordinate communication between Central Office and campuses.
- Represent AYLA professionally during meetings, training, events, and partnerships.
- Operations and Administration
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, logistics, learning materials, and equipment for programs.
- Ensure resources and devices are prepared and available for implementation.
- Support budgeting, procurement planning, and resource management.
- Maintain accurate records of enrolment, attendance, training, and student performance and reports.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, operational procedures, and child safeguarding standards.
- Strategic Development and Innovation
- Contribute to AYLA strategic educational development and innovation initiatives.
- Research emerging educational trends and technologies.
- Recommend improvements and expansion opportunities for after-school programs.
- Support educational partnerships, competitions, exhibitions, and external collaborations.
- Assist in scaling successful programs across multiple campuses.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
- Support AYLA strategic educational initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Represent AYLA professionally in meetings, partnerships, and educational events.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, TESOL, English, Educational Leadership, STEM Education, ICT in Education, Business, or related field
- Master's Degree is preferred
- Teaching qualification or educational leadership certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in education, academic leadership, or program management.
- Experience managing educational or enrichment programs across multiple campuses is preferred.
- Experience in (1-2 of these) English programs, STEM, Robotics, Coding, Digital Learning, or Educational Technology is highly desirable.
- Experience in staff supervision, training, marketing, and strategic growth is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital learning platforms.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong presentation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to work professionally with senior leaders and diverse teams.
- Strategic thinking and business growth mindset.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Strong understanding of educational quality and learner-centred teaching.
